Hazel Class’ Lockdown Learning!
Hazel Class have had another week of wonderful lockdown learning! Children working from home and those in school have continued to work really hard and we are extremely proud of them.
This week the children have blown us away with their amazing stories entitled ‘The Monster’s Ring’. Many of the stories included powerful adjectives and well punctuated dialogue. Mrs Howarth-Smith, Mrs French and Mr Comer really enjoyed reading them.
Children have also developed their multiplication and division skills and have shown good reasoning when explaining their answers.
They have started researching The Vikings in history and in art have drawn some very careful Viking helmets.
In Science children have been learning about different food groups.
Pride winners this week were:
Sonny-for showing great resilience and determination in all of his work, but especially his writing.
Leonard – for showing drive in his story writing and including powerful adjectives.
Tristen – for being an absolute whizz with his recall of multiplication facts and showing such excitement in learning about the patterns in the 9x tables.
Joshua received his Bronze award for 50 pride points.
A big well done to everyone – keep up the tremendous work!
