Home Learning with Ash Class

Another week of home learning, and another week of being blown away by Ash class’s amazing effort and resilience! In Literacy, we have been writing the problem in our story, and learning how to use conjunctions to join sentences. As you can see, the children have been so creative with their writing and are getting much better at using adjectives to add detail too! We have also been writing fact files about dinosaurs by researching using the internet.

Again, we have had some fantastic responses to our book talk activities. These are optional but the children seem to be really enjoying listening to the reading of a book and choosing their favourite activities! This week our book was ‘Here We Are’ by Oliver Jeffers. We have had model rockets, a fact file about a lion, and even some of their ideas for rules to make a better world.

Other things the children have been up to include yoga, baking, and also getting creative with maths activities! All of these things are just as important as school work and are helping to keep the children in Ash class busy and having fun.

Keep up the fabulous work Ash class – each and every one of you has been a star this week!
