Ash Class Update!
This week in Ash class we have been writing the solution to our problem that we wrote last week – the children had some fab ideas and really enjoyed playing ‘spot the solution and problem’ game in our live lesson! We learned more about co-ordinating conjunctions and how to use them in our writing.
For our Book Talk this week, in celebration of Children’s Mental Health Week, the children read Ruby’s Worry. Children were given a series of challenges such as writing positive statements about themselves, using colours to explore emotions, writing a letter to Ruby about how she could cope with her worries, and much more! As you can see (yet again) the responses were fabulous.
This half-term we have been learning all about Vincent Van Gogh. We have been recreating his famous Sunflower painting which I can’t wait to show you the finished pictures of next week! Some children have decided to expand their learning about our artist and recreate their own Starry Nights painting too – how fantastic!]
Another big well done this week to Ash class. Every week they are surprising me and making me proud by showing pure resilience and determination. Keep up the amazing work!
