Many Happy Returners in Hazel Class!

It was lovely to see Hazel Class return to school with such enthusiasm after the Easter Break. Everyone was really pleased to meet up with their friends again and get back into a normal routine. We are hoping for a great Summer Term with no more interruptions to school life.

This term we are looking forward to learning about the Rainforests and it has been lovely to see some children already doing some research on the topic – what a great attitude to learning!!! The knowledge organisers for the Rainforest topic and for our Science work are available on our class page on the website – it would be great for families to work through them together and take a look at some of the knowledge that your child will be expected to learn this term.

All children have made a great start to the term in this first week back. But particular congratulations go to our weekly PRIDE award winner Jaylen – who has made ABSOLUTELY AMAZING progress in his reading – we are all so proud of you Jaylen – your hard work and resilience has really paid off – keep it up.

Well done also to Ava who received her silver award for 100 PRIDE points this week. We would also like to congratulate Laila, Maisie, Jasmin, Ewan, Charlie and Ava – who all earned their first raffle ticket for our new ‘Strive for Pride’ event by ensuring that they completed their homework, worked on their spellings, logged onto TTRS, read at least 3 times in the week and brought all the things they need to school every day – a big well done. Who will earn a raffle ticket next week?
