Built in voice recognition programmes come free with your computer. If you use Windows or Mac OSX you can use your voice to control it.

Windows
Windows Speech Recognition lets you use your computer without a mouse or keyboard. It comes with Windows Vista and Windows 7, but not Windows XP.

  1. Click theĀ StartĀ button, or press theĀ Windows
  2. TypeĀ Ease of Access Center, then press theĀ Enter
  3. SelectĀ Use the computer without a keyboard or mouse.

Mac OSX
Mac OSX Speakable Items lets you control your computer without a keyboard or mouse, but it doesnā€™t support dictation into documents or programmes.
