Year 5
Welcome to Year 5!
Hello, I am Miss Hamilton and our teaching assistant is Mrs Layton. We will be based in Year 5 for the year. We hope to encourage our class how to Show Pride and Reach for the stars!
Our PE days are a Monday and Tuesday. Your child will need to make sure that they have their indoor and outdoor PE kits.
All children will be sent home with spellings each week. These will be tested on a Thursday. You child is also expected to be reading 3 times a week at home, as well as using Times Table Rockstars to practice their times tables. A homework menu will be sent home at the start of each half term, with different activities on for them to complete.
If you have any problems, please feel free to come in and see me after school.
