This week, the children in FS2 have really enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year. We have recapped other festivals we have celebrated this year including Harvest Festival, Diwali and Christmas.
We have read the story of the Chinese Zodiac and learnt that this year is the year of the rabbit. We have learnt that the children in FS2 were born in the year of the rooster and the dog.
We have engaged in a range of activities including making Chinese lanterns, hand-painting a Chinese dragon, listening to traditional music and trying some Chinese food.
