FS1 Explore Space

This week, FS1 explored the topic of Space! The children had lots of fun creating their space pictures, using potatoes to print various planets. They also decorated a biscuit to represent outer space, adding some edible stars and moon dust for a sparkly effect.

As well as this, the children practiced the nursery rhyme ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ using Makaton signs, then discussed how they would travel to the moon and what they would take with them. Everyone worked super hard this week, learning new facts about the solar system, and discussing how to care for our Earth.

Amazing work, well done FS1!
