Making Bird Feeders in FS2!

Our FS2 pupils have been busy getting creative and making their very own bird feeders this week. Using a variety of materials, the children worked carefully to put them together, talking about why it’s important to help feed the birds as the seasons change.

Once finished, we will be hanging the bird feeders in the trees around our outdoor area and keeping a close eye out for visitors. The children are so excited to see which birds – and maybe even a few cheeky squirrels – come to enjoy their tasty treats!

This has been a brilliant, hands-on way to combine creativity with learning about caring for nature and supporting local wildlife.
