FS2 have continued their topic on Hansel and Gretel, making own gingerbread people inspired by the classic tale!
During this hands-on activity, the children followed instructions carefully, worked together as a team of little bakers, and practised their fine motor skills while mixing, rolling, and decorating their creations. They also counted and measured ingredients like pros, exploring early maths concepts, and learned new vocabulary connected to baking and the story. It was a creative and delicious way to bring the story to life!
