Year 6 have really enjoyed their Geography unit on natural disasters. To finish their learning, they explored what causes tsunamis and how they impact people and places. Working together, pupils created a model town with homes, land, trees, and wildlife. They then simulated a tsunami by displacing water and observed the effects on their town.
This hands-on activity helped them understand the impact of natural disasters in a clear and memorable way. Great work, Y6!
