Yesterday was an exciting day as our Y5/6 class officially began their work as Reading Buddies!
Throughout the year, our Reading Buddies will support the Y1 children by helping them with their reading, assisting them on the yard, guiding them with their Chromebook logins, and generally being a friendly older role model.
After the brilliant success of the programme last year, we just had to bring it back – and it’s already off to a fantastic start. It was wonderful to see the children working so well together and forming those all-important connections!
