Year 6 had an exciting and action-packed day on their annual visit to the climbing wall! This trip is always a highlight of the year, giving students the chance to challenge themselves, step out of their comfort zones, and work together to encourage and support their classmates.
It was wonderful to see every single pupil pushing themselves higher than they had before. Many children overcame initial nerves, showing real determination as they scaled the wall.
One of the most popular parts of the session was the speed climbing races, where students had the chance to test themselves against the clock. The competitive spirit was brilliant, with lots of encouragement from friends on the ground.
A special mention goes to Ethan, who not only impressed with his climbing skills but also achieved the fastest time of the day! His result will now be compared against other Year 6 climbers across the whole Wickersley Partnership Trust, giving him the exciting opportunity to be crowned the fastest Y6 climber in the Trust.
