Y6 Science

Today, Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic Science lesson exploring flowering plants and succulents through dissection. Carefully, the children examined each part of a flowering plant, identifying the stem, petals, stamen, carpel, and sepal. They then compared their findings to a succulent plant, Aloe Vera, observing how its leaves were much thicker in order to store more water.

The lesson gave pupils a great opportunity to develop their observation skills through hands-on learning. Great work, Year 6!
