This week, Aston Lodge had a lovely time visiting the local church for a special Harvest experience. The children worked their way around a carousel of engaging, hands-on activities, giving them the opportunity to learn more about where our food comes from and how it is produced. They enjoyed making pots, having a go at weaving with string, learning about yeast and tasting bread, as well as exploring fruit and vegetables that grow in the soil and discovering more about food that comes from the sea.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn through practical experiences and develop their understanding of Harvest and the food we eat. Well done, everyone!
