This week, Year 1 had a fantastic time creating homes for the Bog Baby, inspired by their class story, ‘The Bog Baby’ by Jeanne Willis. Pupils headed outdoors to search for natural materials, carefully choosing resources they thought would help keep the Bog Baby safe and warm. They worked hard to find the right materials and used their creativity and imagination to design special little homes.
It was wonderful to see the children exploring the natural environment, sharing ideas and bringing their story to life through hands-on learning. Well done, Y1!
