Yesterday, FS2 had a special visit from Author and Illustrator Simon Murray. He read his story ‘Icky Doo Dah’ to the children. He explained to the children that today we were going to become illustrators and that our word of the day was ‘detail’. Altogether we followed Simon’s instructions on how to draw our own Icky Doo Dah. ✏
The children did amazing with following the instructions and showing the Aston Lodge Ways. We are very proud of them! 🤗
Simon was very kind and let us have a signed copy of his book for us to keep and read in our classroom. We have loved reading it again before hometime, the Icky Doo Dah is very mischievous. 🤭
