The students were super lucky in assembly yesterday, as they were joined by international IIHF referee Hollie Neenan. She spoke to the children about her transition to refereeing from playing ice hockey and the obstacles she has overcome to get there.
She reminded the students that working towards their goals will have ups and downs, but to not give up on their dreams! Hollie also discussed how fear can impact their ability to chase their goals and what they can do to overcome this.
