Before half term, Year 1 were busy identifying nouns. The children worked really hard to understand what nouns are and how we use them in our sentences. They explored examples of people, places, and things, before completing a fun sorting activity where they had to identify and separate nouns from other types of words.
Everyone showed fantastic focus and enthusiasm, and it was wonderful to see how confidently they could explain their choices by the end of the lesson. Well done, Year 1!
