This week in Literacy, FS2 have started their new theme of ‘Who Lives in the Woods’. They started their theme by reading the story ‘Owl Babies’ written by Martin Waddell.
As a class, they discussed how the characters in the story were feeling when they didn’t know where their mum was, recapping on the emotions they learnt last week whilst reading ‘The Colour Monster’.
FS2 loved participating in a range of Owl Babies activities such as; creating their own Owl Babies paintings of Bill, Percy and Sarah, creating owls in the playdough, making owl headbands and roleplaying the story in the story tuff spot tray.
