Exploring Colour in FS1

The children had a fantastic time taking part in colour hunts around the outdoor area, spotting a wonderful variety of shades in nature. Back indoors, they became little scientists, experimenting with mixing primary colours and making their own exciting discoveries about how new colours are created.

One of the highlights of the week was creating bright, beautiful rainbows and cheerful Elmer the Elephants using colourful tissue paper and recycled milk bottles. The children showed amazing creativity and really enjoyed bringing their colourful ideas to life!
