Handwriting in Y1

Year 1 have been working really hard on their handwriting over the first few weeks of this term. The children have been practising forming their letters correctly, making sure they sit neatly on the line, and taking care with their pencil control. They are also beginning to focus on spacing between words and writing with increasing fluency and confidence.

It has been fantastic to see how much pride the children are already taking in their work, and their efforts are really paying off. Well done, Y1!
