Road Safety Week

On Monday, pupils gathered in the hall to mark the start of Road Safety Week. Miss Jenkinson talked about the importance of staying safe when crossing the road and being aware of our surroundings when out and about – especially now that the evenings are getting darker. Children in KS1 then practised crossing the road in the hall, while their peers watched and suggested what they could do even better to stay safe.

As part of the ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ initiative, every student in school received a reflective keychain to attach to their coat, helping them stay visible throughout the winter months.
