This week in Maths, Y2 have started their new unit on shape! They have been investigating the names and properties of both 2D and 3D shapes, learning to identify edges, faces and vertices. Afterwards, the children put their knowledge into practice by using 2D shapes to build 3D shapes with polydron.
Fantastic effort, Year 2 – well done for working so hard!
