Last Friday, the children in EYFS celebrated Rotherham Day! Everyone dressed in red and talked about where their school is located. They shared places they have visited in Rotherham and discussed what they enjoy seeing and doing in their local area.
The children then put on their adventure backpacks and headed outside for a special red hunt! They explored the school grounds, carefully searching for each red item on their list. As they found each object, they ticked it off and shared their discoveries with their friends. It was a lovely way to develop their observation skills while celebrating their local community.
