In celebration of World Book Day, the children in FS2 created their own ladybird from one of our classroom stories ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ by one of our favourite authors Julia Donaldson.
As part of our DT lessons, the children used their knowledge and skills from our previous lesson of sewing christmas stockings, to create a simple stitch with a needle and thread. The children decorated their ladybird with spots and a pipe cleaner antenna. They all looked incredible, fabulous sewing FS2!
