The children in the nursery last week have been learning all about Diwali and the festival of lights.
We read the story of Dipal’s Diwali and learnt all about the Goddess they worship and the foods they eat when visiting family and friends at the temple.
We have made our very own paper plate Diya lamps and created beautiful Mehndi patterns using our hand prints and cotton buds. The children also experimented in the tuff spot with the paintbrushes and glitter to make patterns to represent the fireworks in the sky.
