FS2 Exploring Woodland Animals

This term, the children in FS2 have been focusing on the topic of ‘Who Lives in the Woods’. As a part of this topic, FS2 visited The Austerfield Study Centre. The children went on a Bear Hunt into the woods, and they reenacted the story and followed the paw prints to find the bear who was hiding.

In the afternoon, the children met some fantastic creatures such as, Millie the millipede, Michelle the Giant African Snail, and Blaze the bearded dragon.

In Literacy, they have also been reading Percy Parkeeper After the Storm. They have done some incredible writing in their books, labelling the animals they saw in the story.

Well done FS2, keep up the great work!
