As part of our theme “Who Lives in the Woods?”, our FS2 pupils have been exploring the story Owl Babies and learning all about birds – where they live, what they eat, and how we can help to keep them safe.
The children explored the trees in our outdoor area and discussed why it’s important to look after nature by keeping it clean and tidy. They then put their ideas into action by heading outside with litter pickers and working together to clear up the area.
This was a brilliant way to bring their learning to life while also showing care and respect for the environment. Well done, FS2!
