As part of our first art unit this year, Year 2 have been learning about the artist Linda Lang. Linda Lang creates artwork inspired by the Polar Regions to raise awareness of the impact of climate change.
The children have been busy creating their own pieces of artwork influenced by her style. They started by making a colour wheel, exploring primary and secondary colours, and learning how to mix colours effectively. They then used their new knowledge to paint their own vibrant pieces, thinking carefully about colour choices and blending techniques.
It has been wonderful to see the children engaging creatively and thoughtfully with their work. Well done, Year 2!
