The children at Aston Lodge Primary have settled in so well! They are ‘blowing us away’ in their new year groups and working very hard.
Y6 Mathematicians
Y6 have made a great start to the year as mathematicians. Before starting their place value unit, students used target boards, grids and cubes to explore and build an understanding of the value of each digit in a number. There were some challenging questions, but they all remained resilient and learnt from their mistakes!️
