Interviewing an Engineer

Beech Class have taken part in interviewing an engineer. Bob Anstey was an engineer for the Royal Navy for over 30 years and worked on submarines, travelling all around the world.

He explained to us all about his job and then we had the opportunity to ask him some questions. One of our questions about what to do in an emergency was answered and we were all very impressed.

Our next steps are to design our own piece of equipment to solve a problem that we see every day. Once we’ve designed them, we’ll send them off to the engineers and we’ll all receive a certificate for our hard work!
