We have had the most productive afternoon starting our new reading buddies scheme! We paired up our wonderful Y6 children with a partner in Y1, who listened to them read and help along in their journey. They then helped them use their phonics to blend tricky words and they’ve even trialed writing a comment in their journal.
What a lovely way to end the day. We’re looking forward to next Thursday already!
