Christmas Church Visit 🎄🕍
On Monday, the whole of Aston Lodge School visited the Central Methodist Church to perform carols and light their Christingles during the service. The Open the Book Team and Vicky were so pleased with our performances and we all had such a brilliant time. It really reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas. 🍊🕯️🎄❤️🎅
Christingle Church Service
The children in Y6 are Christingles for the church service later. We have been learning, in RE, the traditions of Christmas in the Christian religion: the twelve days of Christmas, advent, the birth of Jesus as the Messiah and the meaning behind why we make a Christingle. 🍊🕯️🌎

Aston Lodge Christmas Dinner 🎄🍽

A Year 5 PSHE Debate
In PSHE last week, Holly class debated the importance of ‘kindness’. Children took part in drama role play situations to act out how kindness, or the lack of it, can impact our lives. 💚🧠 Well done Holly Class!
Mock Trial Workshop
Year 5 very much enjoyed taking part in a ‘Mock Trial’ workshop last week.
