Year 5 Sheffield University Science Session

Year 5 very much enjoyed taking part in a Science workshop on the ‘Classification of animals’. The children practised the skill of using classification keys to sort animals according to their different features and attributes. Thank you to the University of Sheffield students for delivering such a fun and informative session.Β

KS1 and KS2 enjoyed their Polar Express Movie Night on Monday evening after school. Pupils watched a Christmas classic, snuggled up in their pyjamas, with a hot chocolate and treats. It really got us in the Christmas spirit.πŸΏπŸŽ¬β˜•οΈπŸ¬πŸŽžοΈπŸŽ„

Y6 TEKK Challenge Update

This morning, we have moved onto the next stage of the TEKK Challenge. πŸ“πŸ”¨ The children are tasked with making a prototype playground, out of lollipop sticks, rope and matchsticks. They are testing out what makes the strongest structure, before planning their playground on paper first. πŸ‘·πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈ

Trip to the Wickersley School Pantomime!

Hazel class had a fabulous time at the Wickersley School pantomime β€˜Robin Hood.’ 🎯🌳 The children were really inspired by the cast and many of the children have now commented that they would like to be part of a Drama group. Well done everyone! 😊
