TT Rockstars in Holly Class!

A record number of students achieved a TT Rockstars certificate this week. They have all worked so hard, and we couldn’t be more proud of them. Well done Holly Class!

Digestive Experiments in Hazel Class!

Today in Science, the children took part in a practical experiment, showing how our body digests the food we eat. The children learned a lot and had so much fun!  Well done Hazel Class!

Y1 Emergency Services Museum Trip!

This week, Ash class went on their school trip to the National Emergency Services Museum to learn more about the people who help them. Y6 National Earth Day 2024

To celebrate National Earth Day 2024, Y6 made it their mission to tidy up around the school and local area. They started near the park and down the streets around school. They then finished at the car park and around the school grounds.  Well done Aston Lodge!

Y6 Nando’s Scale Vocabulary!

Y6 have been working super hard to level up their vocabulary skills with a thesaurus. In the class novel, they have learnt all about the unkind and grumpy teacher, Mr Irons! They are ranking their word choice based on intensity, using the Nando’s scale:  “That’s a lemon and herb word.”  “That word is extra hot!” Well done Year 6!

Y5 Bikeability

We are so proud of all the Year 5 students who took part in the Bikeability sessions last week. All students demonstrated resilience and determination, and they learnt important skills in the process. Well done everyone! 

Y4 Swimming Awards!

Our Y4 swimmers have recently completed their swimming sessions, and all the students received an award! We’d like to give a special well done to Charley, for being awarded the most improved swimmer. We are so proud of you Hazel class, you have done fantastically!
