Class Councillor in Y5!

Last week, we were blown away by the children of Holly Class, who put themselves forward as a potential Class Councillor. The children spoke articulately and with confidence. Everyone said it certainly was a difficult job choosing two representatives for the class. Results will be announced soon! #WeAreProudOfOurAchievements

Science in Holly Class!

In Science last week, Holly Class learnt about four new organs of the body: the liver, the skin, the bladder and the kidneys. With their partner, they enjoyed labelling the organs of the human body and finding out the functions of each new organ. Well done everyone! #WeAreEquippedToLearn

Pride Superstar!

This week our Pride Superstar is Riley! He has been working so incredibly hard with his phonics, and really trying with his letter formation. Reading ‘Owl Babies’ in FS2

This week in Literacy, FS2 have been reading the story ‘Owl Babies’ by Martin Waddel.They have really enjoyed discussing the story and creating their own owl paintings and owl headbands. Well done everyone!

Y6 Crucial Crew Visit!

Y6 have had a great day out at the Lifewise Centre with Crucial Crew, they have learned how to protect themselves in different community scenarios, such as water and fire safety. They asked and answered some great questions. Well done everyone! #WeListenToOthers

Y5/6 Author Study

This week, Y5 and Y6 enjoyed listening to the author Katherine Rundell in their reading lesson. She talked about why she was inspired to write her new book, and spoke about all her recent adventures! Everyone listened brilliantly, and were so respectful. Well done! #WeListenToOthers

FS2 Colour Monster Baking!

This week, the children loved their Colour Monster baking treat! FS2 have been looking at the story ‘The Colour Monster’ by Anna Llenas. So, they decorated a biscuit, choosing which emotion they wanted their Colour Monster to have. They did a fantastic job decorating their biscuits, and they all looked delicious!
