During our place value Maths lessons, the children of Holly Class very much enjoyed using our Maths resources to learn how to exchange and to know the value of each digit. Impressive work, Holly Class!
As well as this, as part of our Money Matters learning in Maths, Holly Class explored ways in which to save money and the planet. They learned how to use the 3RS – reduce, recycle and reuse – for food consumed at home and other household items, so that less rubbish would go into landfill and more money would go into people’s pockets!
In Computing, they also worked in small groups to research ways in which technology can impact our planet. They presented their findings to the class with confidence.
Way to go Holly Class – you will be future environmentalists and money aware!
