During our R.E lesson, the children from Little Oaks have learnt all about the festival of Diwali.
They enjoyed listening to the story of Dipal’s Diwali and learning why it is called the Festival of Light and why it is important to the Hindu religion. We used our fine motor skills to manipulate clay and create our own Diya lamps, using our colour mixing knowledge we decorated our lamps. They all looked very impressive!
