FS1 has been looking at a new book called Little Acorn. We explored various seasons and what happens to acorns when they fall from the tree, all the children enjoyed creating their own life cycle and learned new words such as seedling and sapling.
The children and Miss Woodger while outside happened to find an acorn on the grass during playtime. We took this in and planted this in the classroom. It quickly started to shoot and the children take turns in giving the little tree water.

On Monday, Ash Class worked super hard to start creating some pencil cases in DT. The children were resilient with their sewing, which was tricky!
