Before the Christmas break the children were engaging in textiles during Design and Technology. They learnt the vocabulary of the words needle, thread, felt, and stitch. They also enjoyed learning how to safely sew thread a needle through the felt to create a stitch whilst creating a Christmas stocking that we decorated with fur and pom poms.
