FS2s Trip to the Transport Museum

This term, the children have been learning about different modes of transport. We have learnt about a range of cars, boats, aeroplanes, trains and rockets through reading stories from Author ‘Tony Mitton’. We have sorted a variety of transport into sea, air and land. We have discussed the vocabulary ‘past’ and ‘present’ and used this vocabulary to sort a variety of toys into toys of the past and the present. We have observed vehicles from the present driving past our school from our outdoor area. Last week FS2 visited the South Yorkshire Transport Museum on a heritage bus to explore transport from the past.🚂
