Sam was helping the children train to react to possible fractures and fainting.
The children understood the key messages of ‘keep it still’ when dealing with a fracture and ‘speak out if you feel you may faint’ when feeling like you may faint. The children learned how to deal with both these situations.
They enjoyed practising making a sling for their partner for a possible broken arm fracture and how to support their partner who ‘felt faint’ by lowering them safely to the floor.
