World Cup Reading Challenge

Since Autumn term Mrs Cronin has been running her very own Reading World Cup Challenge. Players have been competing by reading and completing reading comprehensions to get through to the next round. We have continued to use the resources to promote a reading culture in our school, encouraging staff and students to share recommendations with each other and champion the books we have enjoyed. Sadly the tournament is over we really enjoyed the book battles and discovered some great new titles and authors.

The excited finalists all received a jump pass for them and a friend. The player of the tournament was also presented with a medal.
