Y6 Half Term Update

Y6 have been very busy this half term!

As part of their English learning they went on a SPAG-enger hunt!

They looked for clues hidden within Easter bunny eggs to reveal a location around school.

When they got there, they had a particular grammar feature to practice in their groups.

13 different features were practiced and they were so good at solving the riddles – even Mrs Cronin joined in!

We wonder what the prize will be? 🐇🥚

For Reading the students have loved their class text: Holes.

We finished the unit today by completing a book review, which told the reader what they each liked and disliked about the novel.

We then used our comparison skills to compare the book to the film – identifying the similarities and differences between the two. 🦎

We can’t wait to see where their learning takes them next half term! Have a great Easter Break Y6!  🥰 🐣
