Coronation Litter Pick

This week the eco-committee have been busy organising a litter pick. They were eager to get school and the local community tidy in preparation for our Coronation picnic and community celebrations.

After the litter picks they explain to the volunteers why it is important not to litter.

Ava, “It’s bad for the environment.”

Darcie, “Animals can eat litter and get sick or die.”

Laila, “It makes the world look untidy and spoils the countryside.”

Francisse, “Broken glass can act like a magnifying glass and causes wildfires in some countries.”

Jasmine, “Cigarette buts take 5 years to decompose.”
