As part of our learning to prepare children for the real world, all children at Aston Lodge take part in ‘Money Matters’ lessons.
These lessons help children understand the concept of money and how important it is in our daily lives.
Year 5 enjoyed their first money matters lesson this week. They learned how knowing the 3 R’s (reduce, reuse and recycle), which they have learned about in their Geography lessons, is important in their daily life when using money too.
The children articulated well the way money can be saved by using the 3Rs in our daily lives.
