As part of Careers in English month, Holly class signed up to ‘Meet the author Annelise Gray’ via a zoom link.
Annelise is most known for her books on Circus Maximus which are stories set during the Roman Empire when when Caligula rules and chariots race at the empire’s famous Coliseums.
Circus Maximus is a riveting read that brings to life the world of Ancient Rome. The children very much enjoyed learning how Annelise came up with the ideas for her stories and how she developed her characters.
We cannot wait to read the first of these books as our class reading book!
