Beech Class Food Bank Collection

This week in Geography we have been learning about harvest and food banks.

Previously in our unit we had learnt about farming and growing food. We’ve learnt about the different types of farms and identified these in our local area.

In this week’s lesson we discussed whether we had enough food in Rotherham and discovered that food banks can help people who don’t have enough food.

As it was the harvest festival, some children even brought in food to donate to the food bank. We love your generosity Beech Class!
