Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed the visit from local author Peter J Murray to talk about his series of children’s books based on the character of ‘Mokee Joe’.
The children were inspired by Peter’s life story, and finding out how he became a writer and where his characters evolved from.
The children were keen to purchase their own copies of the books and were lucky enough to have their copies personally signed for them by the author himself!
What a fantastic opportunity!
